About global Balanced Scorecard Hall of Fame for Strategy Execution™
The global Hall of Fame award was initiated by Dr. Robert Kaplan and Dr. David Norton, co-originators of the Balanced Scorecard methodology. Kaplan and Norton are founders of the Balanced Scorecard Collaborative [BSCol] and Palladium, the largest global organization focused on strategy execution.
Every year, a "Crystal Diamond Award" is personally presented by Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Norton to organisations that have achieved breakthrough results by successfully using best practices for Strategy Focused Organizations. Winning organizations are selected from each of four regions - Asia Pacific, North America, South America and Europe.
· There are, to date, more than 80 "Hall of Fame" organizations around the world that have honored the global award, including both public and private sectors. For example, Chemical Bank's profit increased 20 times after implementing BSC from.1993-1996. After BSC implementation, British Telecom successfully implemented their global Strategy, growing from a domestic telecom operator to a multinational organization. Each of these winning organizations has successfully used the BSC methodology to achieve breakthrough results.
· The first Chinese organization to receive the global Hall of Fame award is China Resources Microelectronics (CRM), the technology flagship of China Resources (Holdings) Ltd. CRM achieved breakthrough success using the BSC methodology as measured by a seven-fold increase in revenue at a compound annual growth rate of 72%, and dramatic increases in total profit at a compound growth rate of 70%.
The winners of the award have the opportunity to be described as a Harvard case for the students of Harvard Business School.
The award winners are globally promoted by the media network of Palladium/BSCol, including the media in US, Europe, Asia and China.
Becoming a winner of the global Hall of Fame award for Strategy Execution improves these organizations' global brand recognition and becomes a benchmark for companies around the world for how to execute strategy successfully.
